Taiwan Travelogue: Ya Rou Bian

30/12/2012

It was a cold rainy day. In fact, it was the coldest day we had in Taipei during our trip because the cold current hit the city that day. It was around 10 degrees. Our plan was to go Dan Shui, but before that, we had our lunch at Ya Rou Bian in Xi Men Ding. The restaurant is under our list of recommended restaurants we must go.

We asked the staff to help us to order cause it was our first visit. We had two choices, either rice vermicelli or noodle. Then to order the duck meat in value of 200NT/300NT/400NT? I think we chose 300NT (I can't remember the exact amount). And yeah, in the picture above, that is the small portion of duck meat that was shared by the four of us. It was a tasty treat but there was a lot of bones too. So, it was satisfying for my taste bud but not so for my tummy.

^ This is a collection of funny shots I took when we were waiting for our drinks. They were talking pretty animately, so I wanted to take photo of it. But they caught me, and dramatically refused to let me take photos. And yup, this was what I got. ;)

After our meal, we set off to Dan Shui! But I have to split it into the another entry cause there are lots of photos. Thus, I am ending this entry with random shots taken while we were waiting for the train.

Till the next post!

~ I miss the cold weather! Ayes ~

** I am documenting my 2-weeks trip in Taiwan (20 Dec 2012 - 2 Jan 2013), but not in chronological order.
