Taiwan Travelogue: Fei Tien Hot Pot

1/1/2013
Right after the New Year Countdown, we went to Fei Tien Hot Pot Restaurant, recommended by Shioeer's colleague. The outlet we went was at Ximen, which was walking distance from our hostel. We reached there around 2am. It closes at 5am that day instead of their usual 2am. We knew it beforehand cause we went to the shop the day before to check out reservation details, and it turns out it was not necessary because it was not that crowded. I almost gave this meal a miss cause I was tired, and feasting before sleep kind of scares me. But I am glad we went cause I enjoyed the meal so much that I want to recommend it to everyone! It was one of the best meal I have.

^A nice gesture to keep our bags protected from getting dirty in the restaurant.
^ We chose 3 different types of soup base: Spicy (Top), Ginseng Herbal (Left), Sour Veggies with meat (Right). This was how it looks before we put anything. The soup itself taste so good! My favourite soup base is the sour veggies with meat! I personally cannot take the spiciness thus I only had little of it.
^Choosing the food! So many good stuffs to choose from!
^ Everyone on the table busy taking photos and instagramming
^When it is filled with lots of yummies!
 ^ Happy feasting!!!
^3 cans, all for one person!
^The weather was around 12 degrees.

What the restaurant offers:
Choose all you want, take all you want! : Taiwan Beer, Dessert, Häagen-Dazs (awesome!), wide variety of food, a fridge of drinks. I even asked the staffs if we need to pay for the drinks and she replied back a 'no', and say it's free flow.

They also offer trays of thinly sliced meat for shabu shabu which you need to order. (I didn't take photo of it but we had plenty and it was so good too!)

Now the best part you need to know... deng deng deng. The whole meal cost around SGD20. It is so worth it! I am definitely going there again if I go Taiwan again!

Highly Recommended!!!

** I am documenting my 2-weeks trip in Taiwan (20 Dec 2012 - 2 Jan 2013), but not in chronological order.
